Returns and Refunds

Please note that we assess refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

 What if I have ordered an incorrect title?

We accept a return as long as the title is in its original condition. You must notify us within 7 days after confirmed delivery of the title that you intend to return it. We will refund the price of the title, but not the shipping costs.

What if I have ordered an incorrect language and want to exchange the title?

We accept an exchange of the title. We will exchange the title or language and facilitate a delivery of the correct title. Please do note that the customer is liable for both the return and delivery of the title. This means we will pass the courier company costs onto the customer before the exchange is made. Delivery timelines are as the standard delivery timelines for the original delivery.

 What if I have been sent a wrong title or language?

Our aim is to be 100% error free, but unfortunately mistakes can and do happen. If we have sent you a wrong title or language, please email us at: info@blankpagebooks.africa We aim to rectify within 48 hours of being notified of the error. We will arrange for a return and delivery at no additional cost to the customer within the same delivery timelines once the amended order has been confirmed.

 What if my order has not been delivered?

Non-delivery of titles ordered is assessed on a case-by-case basis. Should your order not be delivered through non-fulfilment of obligation to deliver on the part of the courier (theft or loss of the package), we will re-deliver your title at no additional cost to you. If you as the customer was not contactable, the courier has the discretion to return the order back to us, in which case, you as the customer will have to contact us to get your title re-delivered. In such a case, we may pass on to you (the customer) any fee that the courier charges for returned delivery.

 What if I receive a damaged book?

Please email us as soon as possible at: info@blankpagebooks.africa with your order number and (if possible) a photo of the book’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis, and we will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

What if I need to cancel my order?

You have the right to cancel any order within 24 hours of placing it. If you paid for the order by credit card, we will refund you the amount paid.

If you paid for the order by direct bank deposits and electronic fund transfers (EFT) please note that we require one of the following from you:

  • Stamped bank confirmation letter on the bank’s letterhead,
  • The customer’s bank statement showing the customer’s name and account details.

Please forward your order number as well as one of the above proofs of banking details to info@blankpagebooks.africa, so that we can make the refund.

How do I return a title?

  1. Please email us with your order number at: info@blankpagebooks.africa, so that we can provide you with the address details to send the title.
  2. Put the packing slip/invoice with your title and include a brief note before sealing it in a new parcel.
  3. Send it via courier to the address provided to you through email.
  4. Once we receive your returned title, we will either exchange it or refund your money depending on what you require.
  5. For refunds, we will refund your money as soon as we have verified that everything is in order. If you paid with your credit card, you card will be refunded. If you paid with an EFT, Instant EFT or Direct Deposit please note that we require one of the following from you:
  • Stamped bank confirmation letter on the bank’s letterhead,
  • The customer’s bank statement showing the customer’s name and account details.
